I recently began exploring Linux just to find a different option besides Windows or macOS. I chose Ubuntu for my old laptop and downloaded a 16GB flash drive with no files. I formatted it as a bootable USB using the Ubuntu website, moved it from the downloads folder onto the drive, plugged it in, adjusted the boot sequence, and saved the changes. After exiting, the system told me it couldn't find an operating system on the boot drive. I’m not sure what went wrong.
Did you transfer it to the storage device or simply store it there?
Instead of saving the file to a USB drive, create a bootable USB that you can use directly.
Open the tool, upload the required file, enter the folder in the input field, then press save.
