Need assistance with a blue screen error? MEMORY ACCESS VIOLATION
I’ve just relocated my Alienware x51 to a new enclosure, and it's operating perfectly. I upgraded with a fresh power supply, CPU fan, and graphics card. My system utilizes a 600w EVGA power supply alongside an EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC. I’ve installed the latest GPU drivers and have reinstalled them repeatedly.
I'm using Windows 8. When attempting to find matches in Rainbow Six Siege, I consistently encounter this blue screen error. Despite being able to play all other online games, searching for multiplayer matches within Rainbow Six Siege triggers this issue. I’ve attempted troubleshooting methods like complete uninstallations and reinstalls without success.
The system displays "Your PC encountered a problem and requires a restart. We are gathering diagnostic information before restarting." Beneath that message is the suggestion: “If you wish to investigate further, you can search online for this error code: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER.”
I would appreciate any assistance or advice regarding this issue – thank you.

Which edition of Windows are you running?
I use Windows 8 Professional
A 64-bit operating system.
Please execute the chkdsk /f command as outlined in this article: It could require a significant amount of time, so please be understanding. If it detects and corrects any issues, kindly restart your computer. I’ve already attempted this along with chkdsk /r and sfc /scannow, but nothing resolved the problem. It’s puzzling that this issue only occurs within one particular game. I'll attempt to run chkdsk again for good measure.
run the command `chkdsk /f /r` with the /f option.
I attempted this but it didn’t resolve the issue; I also deactivated Fast Startup and Sleep settings within my power configurations, as suggested by another person—neither action corrected the problem. 🙁
