Hello everyone. Recently I experienced issues with the display when starting my PC, especially around the boot screen. Sometimes it shows only minor strange symbols or sometimes it displays completely differently than expected. I found online advice suggesting default BIOS settings. When I changed them and entered BIOS, I noticed some display problems—colors appear incorrect, with green, purple, and yellow lines where black should be, and the bottom part of the BIOS shows yellow instead of the usual color. My PC functions normally, the GPU works well, and even when using integrated graphics, the issue persists. I suspect it’s a mix of an old BIOS version and new drivers. I haven’t updated the BIOS myself, so I didn’t want to risk things since everything was working before. Another point: during my purchase, I overlooked RAM support details, bought a RAM that wasn’t listed as supported, but it still worked fine even with Expo enabled. After some driver updates, problems emerged—there’s a red light on the motherboard when turning on the PC, and after restarting everything works again, but the light stays on. The support team from Gigabyte recommended updating the BIOS. Lastly, I’m curious—could a RAM issue cause this kind of display problem? I reached out for help about two to three days ago, but I haven’t received a response yet. Appreciate any assistance you can provide.
