I’ll just mention that you’re losing around $300 by choosing the 10,700K over the 10,600K and opting for a Dark Rock 4 instead of a normally priced board.

I'll take a closer look at that cooler. Do you have any questions about motherboards?

Choosing an i5 usually works well on most systems. For the i7 space heater, go for the more expensive model instead.

A 280mm AIO should comfortably reach over 5GHz with an Intel 10700K. For RAM, go with the most affordable 3200/3600 package unless you prefer higher clock speeds; otherwise, this setup is optimal. You can likely fit it in front of your case without needing a case change.

Thanks for the assistance, I definitely suggest going for a motherboard over the Strix. https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG...-F-GAMING/ This is the model commonly found in pre-built systems on scan.co.uk and appears to be selling out quickly.

I saw this information earlier when discussing future proofing requirements. My i7 8086ks works similarly to the i510600k in games, giving around 2018 performance. Even an i7 10700k isn’t a big upgrade right now, though it might become one later. I’ve stopped purchasing six-core CPUs, but I’d still consider getting an eight-core option.

Checking the prices of the AIO shows a similar cost for the NZXT Kraken X73 360mm in the UK. Would this model offer improved cooling? Since your setup includes three fans on the front, it should work well.

Before placing your order, I noticed Gigabyte boards are included with an SSD. Is this a consideration for you, or does the MSI model simply outperform them enough to justify the price?

Well I don't see an ssd bundled with the link and the ssd doesn't come free. They bundle it sometimes because they can.
