It handles the processor usage efficiently, reaching the necessary levels without causing a bottleneck. It adjusts its performance based on the task requirements, working at the speed needed at any given moment.
This is how my system operates at least. When I interact with something, it temporarily increases the core activity before returning to normal.
I haven’t observed any noticeable variation compared to loading from a low-speed setup (800mhz up to 4900mhz) or from a higher speed state (already running at 4900mhz).
Essentially, it only applies more voltage when a thread actively uses the cores. Once a thread engages, it operates at maximum frequency and continues without hesitation.
It’s not like a vehicle with momentum—it doesn’t require acceleration.
Please review the thread before posting, as I’m seeking guidance on how to proceed. I don’t want warnings or advice against doing it; I just need clarity on what I should do next. Thanks.

it shouldn't drop the clock then

can anyone else confirm this advice? I never imagined this would work because I always set it to high performance. First thing I do when starting Windows. Thanks for the help

mcnumpty23 :
adjust settings in Windows/Control Panel/Power Options
make it high performance
this should prevent the clock from slowing down
anyone else confirm this tip? I usually run mine at high performance all the time. It surprised me that this works, especially since I’ve always set it that way. Thanks for the help
