I upgraded my motherboard and lost my Windows 10 Pro. The system asks to re-activate it, but it charges a fee. Can you help me get it back?

Usually, the main component is located on the side or bottom of the computer when you purchased it. Check for it. Is this device a custom build?

Before the swap, ensure your PC was logged in with a Microsoft account and that you confirmed your account settings. This allows seamless replacement and activation of the new motherboard within your Microsoft account. Did you log in with a Microsoft account before changing the motherboard?
