on my pc it doesn't boot fully, showing an error about a pcie card (gpu). i made sure everything was okay. after turning it on, it worked. before that, it stopped working while still plugged in, but the same pcie error appeared again. i haven't managed to fix it permanently for months.
i checked the pcie slot and gpu—they seem fine. i'm unsure what's causing the issue and it's really frustrating since i've invested a lot. i don't know if the problem is with the psu or the motherboard. i can't just replace the pc; this one isn't working at all. someone would really appreciate help, maybe from another source. i think it might be related to the motherboard or psu. getting a new psu would be the only solution, but a new motherboard would be too much trouble.
no, i forgot to include the specs
gpu: gtx 1060
cpu: i7 2600k
psu: corsair vs550
ssd: kingston 1tb
i understand these psus can sometimes fail, but when the pc runs smoothly there are no problems. it didn’t work properly a couple of weeks ago, but now it’s only working after a week. i’m new to hardware, not computers per se, just the side stuff. maybe the psu is the issue or the power cable isn’t working, but i doubt it and won’t replace it unless it’s my last choice.
