Hello, I recently purchased a computer with the ASRock M320 Pro motherboard, Ryzen 3 3200G processor, and 8GB DDR4 RAM at 3000MHz. I was using it for gaming and multitasking, but after installing 2GB of integrated video card memory, I realized I needed more. I decided to upgrade with an additional Corsair LX Pro 2x4GB RAM module at 2667MHz. The issue began when I connected the new RAM, powered on the PC, and it failed to boot—restarting several times before finally starting. In BIOS I noticed the RAM frequency dropped to 2133MHz instead of the expected 3000MHz. I experimented with higher speeds, reaching up to 2700MHz, but it still wouldn’t boot. The DRAM voltage settings were adjusted to 1.35V, though the display showed a warning for anything above 1.3V. I’m seeking advice on why it isn’t working at the intended speed and how to resolve this. Can you help?

Two issues affecting you:
1) The A320 board will offer significantly reduced RAM performance.
2) Most motherboards have four dimms that struggle to hit their rated speeds due to the daisy-chain design instead of a T topology.
2666 is still okay overall.

It's actually quite good, with only a slight variation of up to 10 frames per second between the two versions.
