Need assistance! The AMD FX-6300 overclocking issue has escalated.
I tried to boost my AMD FX-6300 on an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 board following the video instructions. After adjusting the BIOS as shown, I restarted the PC and encountered errors stating "please note that I am running Windows 10" with corrupted data. Turning it off and back on didn’t help. Now I’m stuck with a screen saying "preparing automatic repair." I removed the battery to reset things, tried another hard drive but the same issue persists. The system displays "0xc0000428" when I restart. I also attempted a different GPU, but the problem continues.
It seems your configuration wasn't consistent and it's preventing the system from starting properly. Consider resetting the CMOS and testing with standard settings. There are typically two pins on the motherboard labeled for this purpose, along with a jumper to reset the data. You can also remove the battery if that's possible. Look up instructions on clearing CMOS to see if it resolves the issue. When your settings were unstable, it often led to the system entering repair mode after BIOS.
