Need assistance setting up a PC for 3D rendering tasks?
Hi, my recent work heavily depends on 3D MAX rendering. I purchased a PC four years ago, which performed well for three years before suddenly showing blue screens during rendering tasks. Whenever I consulted three different individuals about the issue, each time they reported additional problems. Now, even simple activities like watching YouTube videos trigger blue screens, and no other software is installed. The last person suggested it might be related to the built-in nature of the PC and noted that Autodesk software causes issues on built systems compared to laptops. This was after I explained that the same software functions correctly on my laptop.
Here’s the build specification:
Processor: Ryzen 9 3950x
Motherboard: ASUS X570 TUF GAMING PLUS WIFI ARGB ATX Gaming Motherboard
GPU: GTX 1650 SUPER ROG Advanced Edition 4GB GDDR6
Storage: AORUS RGB M.2 NVMe SSD 512GB + Wd 2TB 5400 RPM SATA HDD
Ram: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 32GB 2 x 16GB DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz
Power supply: THERMALTAKE Toughpower Grand RGB 850W
Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB
Case: Cooler Master TD500
My question is: Is what he said believable? If not, what should I consider when building a new PC for rendering?
Thank you very much in advance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Your initial post has elements of both a troubleshooting discussion and a request for setting up a new system. To keep it focused, it's best to concentrate on one aspect and create a separate thread for the other. It's recommended that participants present their queries with clear details, such as how to request advice on new builds or upgrades.
Is this the appropriate place to ask about selecting components for your new build to ensure smooth rendering performance?
