I have a small issue where my computer gets sluggish every hour or so, audio loops for about two seconds, and it’s really bothersome. My friend had the same problem and fixed it by reinstalling Windows. I have some gameplay recordings saved, but I’m unsure how to completely wipe them without losing anything. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Begin with Windows 10 in safe mode. Power on the PC and repeatedly press F8. Select "Restore PC." If prompted, choose to keep all files and applications. If not, make a bootable USB drive and restart from it. Run the repair tool for Windows to resolve the issue without losing any data.

I would connect an external hard drive and store all your recordings there. Keeping a backup is a wise choice.

You can also send the recording to a cloud storage service such as Media Fire or Google Drive.

This occurs if you repeatedly press F8 during startup while the system is in safe mode.

Consider if your BIOS settings vary. Attempt entering safe mode at another stage and attempt to reinstall Windows.
