I just cleared my old PC using the Windows reset feature meant to erase the hard drive and restore it to new condition. I also had a dual boot setup with Mint installed. Did the Windows reset option also remove the Linux system? Thank you!

It seems to check without directly accessing the hard drive, so it likely remains intact if they were separate partitions. The quickest method would be to attempt booting into it.

Reset impacts only the Windows boot drive/partition. It performs that action, resetting all installed programs, settings, and deleting personal files on that drive. Restore operates at a gentler level, leaving user files and most software untouched. It simply brings the system back to its last saved state, including updates that happen automatically.
