Need Assistance Removing Diablo 4 Beta 77GB
It is consuming 77gb of my 450gb SSD, and I haven’t noticed it until now, but it’s still installed on my PC. How can I remove it? The recommended topic didn’t help with the problem. I’m unable to uninstall Diablo 4 Beta. When I try to follow the “solved” section on that topic and open it from “Program Files/x86,” a large blue “uninstall button” appears with “Diablo IV - Server Slam” next to it. However, when I click to uninstall, it turns greyed out and doesn’t respond properly, even though the hard drive size isn’t returning to the SSD. There’s no Diablo 4 uninstall icon in the default Windows “add/remove” section; the only one there is for “battle.net.” I’ve also used “Revo Uninstaller Pro Portable free version,” but it doesn’t detect anything related to Diablo 4 in its uninstaller results—just “battle.net,” which takes up 660mb.
Diablo 4 Beta is no longer accessible on battle.net. You need to remove it yourself.
The files in the folder contain a "compatibility" tab instead of a "Shortcut" tab. There are six tabs total, but the "Compatibility" option is replaced with a "Digital Signatures" tab. I made a shortcut to both files on the desktop, and they now show up as having the "shortcut" tab. The folder does not contain an uninstall .exe file, so I removed it, though some .dll files remain. This should prevent registry issues.
Thanks in advance, everyone. I'm relieved to finally get some room on my SSD once more.
