I enjoy multiplayer titles that offer lasting fun, especially those that remain entertaining years later—like CS:GO or similar. Since you don’t want to miss out on the best from 2014 onward, and now have a solid PC setup, I’m curious what games you’d like to explore? Any recommendations would be great!
CS:GO FTL (not multiplayer but still solid) options available
V or VI mode when it drops
I purchased it for a discount, usually it costs ten dollars. Online multiplayer is what people love. Custom game modes are amazing. I’ve spent more than 2000 hours playing a five-dollar game on Steam just because of the Trouble in Terrorist Town mode. It’s really hard to resist. My laptop runs an I7-3667 with Intel HD graphics (five years old) and still delivers over 100 FPS. PS: If you get this game, try it on Elysium TTT. Great server, great staff, plus I play there too on Steam – The DInkster
You might explore mobile games. If you enjoy them, you can generally play for the rest of your life. The issue is that the mobile gaming community is very tough to enter as a newcomer, but still... I’d suggest Dota 2 if you’re looking for a more intricate and mechanical MOBA, though LoL is simpler to start with.
I continue to enjoy a lot of MechWarrior Online. I believe the best MMO ever is Dungeons and Dragons Online (excluding Neverwinter)—but only if you're into D&D 3.5, otherwise you'll face a steep learning curve. I also think the only games I'm eager for are Civ 6 and Divinity Original Sin 2 (just to play co-op with friends).
