I have two 1TB Seagate Barracuda SSDs—one black and one green. My main drive (C drive) holds my operating system and daily apps like Firefox and Visual Studio. My secondary drive (D drive) is for games and other media. I’m considering moving my Windows 10 OS to the SSD without losing data. You mentioned an SSD from eBuyer; would it be possible to transfer my OS safely? Any guidance would be really helpful!

The new SSD matches the size of your existing hard drive, which is ideal. If not, you might need to back up data and reinstall the operating system. Your files on the D drive remain secure.

It would take a significant amount of money for a 1TB SSD. Probably means it's not the quickest option...

Amount of data should be smaller than ssd capacity - then you can use Macrium Reflect to clone your os. And this is very common question here on forum - you can use search function.
