the issue is with the cpu power header at the top left; the hole doesn’t align properly. The labelless one fits the power header, but the other end doesn’t match the psu. you should use the 6+2 connector for the power header, not the 4+4 pins. it’s not a 4+4 pin setup but a 3+4 pin configuration, and i’m unsure if it’s safe for power or gpu use.

No. 6+2 is always a PCIE cable and the CPU cable has a different pinout. Swapping them could cause issues. For modular PSU cables, the CPU side usually has 4+4 pins (connecting to the motherboard), while the other end is a non-separable connector for the PSU. Capture a photo of your CPU cable and the CPU power header on the motherboard.

It doesn't appear clear from the photo, but according to the motherboard manual, the retainer on the header is positioned upside down. If that's the case with your board, then the clip side of the connector should face up and the 4+4 should align properly. It's normal that the keying doesn't match the header exactly. You're referring to the PSU side, right? That should work fine.

I followed all your instructions and here’s what it looks like in the back. I’m confused about why there seems to be so little cable. I used an ATX12V 20+4 pin cable from the PSU to the motherboard, connected the CPU with 4+4 pins, then the GPU via a PCIe 6+2 cable, and finally the SATA 15 pin for the case. Think that’s complete? Let me know if you missed anything. Also, yesterday when I removed my GPU, I broke the retention clip—I don’t know if that part was missing or just looks like that from the original. Please don’t tell me I damaged my GPU.
