Hi everyone, I've been using Windows on my Mac for several months without problems. Recently, it began slowing down and behaving strangely. After running malware scans and checking the antivirus, everything looked clean. Now it restarts when I power off because it freezes, and I can't boot at all due to a disk read error. I've tried all the usual fixes but nothing works. I won’t be back home until Monday, so I’ll need to troubleshoot further then. Any suggestions would be really helpful!

It seems the storage device isn't functioning properly.

A disk failure might mean your hard drive is permanently gone.

I bought this Kingston SSD earlier but realized their quality is terrible, so I’m assuming it’s no longer working...

Samsung and Intel are reliable partners for SSDs, even with my HyperX 3K running perfectly. It really depends on usage and personal habits. I’ll just say it’s a bit of a coincidence.

I installed 840 Evos on my desktop, but it was a budget change rather than a major overhaul. I didn’t want to spend much on an older Mac, so it was just a $100 improvement.
