Hello, I noticed your Fortinet setup is preventing access to FB and YouTube, and it's also blocking VPN connections. Let me know if you need help resolving this.

Discuss your need for Facebook/YouTube with your supervisor if required. Otherwise, <removed>. Updated June 28, 2018 by SansVarnic

Discussing ways to bypass filters and restrictions is important, but it's essential to consider legal and ethical implications. If you're looking for information on navigating internet access, focus on understanding safe and legal methods such as using VPNs or exploring open networks. Always prioritize compliance with laws and platform guidelines.

You're not obligated to check social media platforms. Your company's rules probably include a rule that lets you get fired if you misuse the network. Follow the instructions you're paid for, and if you really need access to Facebook or YouTube, use your own data plan on your phone while you're in a private spot like the toilet.

Leave your current role and seek opportunities where social media platforms are permitted. Your IT team’s rules aim to prevent idle time and enhance system efficiency, especially since YouTube negatively impacts performance on terminal servers. Be sure to ask about FB and YT access during interviews when supervisors aren’t around—this shows strong professional awareness.
