Recently I've experienced occasional crashes while playing games. I've included images to illustrate the screen behavior during these incidents. Further details are available in my earlier discussion. The problem seemed resolved for about a week and a half, but it has reappeared now. Additionally, I'm encountering DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error messages when attempting to power off or put the PC to sleep. It's worth mentioning that crashes can occur without affecting the entire system—sometimes only the game fails while everything else runs fine. When this happens, the system reports a "loss of connection with the video device." This inconsistency is notable; I ran a stress test lasting 45 minutes without any issues. Despite trying various fixes—reinstalling graphics drivers via DDU, performing disk and memory checks, running a system file check, completely reinstalling Windows, updating BIOS—I haven't seen success. My PC specifications include a Ryzen 7 3700X, ASUS x470-F gaming motherboard, Corsair vengeance LPX 2x8 GB DDR4, 3600 CL18 RTX 2080 TI FE EVGA supernova 750 G3, 1TB WD blue HDD, and a SanDisk SSD on the boot drive. Should I consider replacing some components? What might be the probable reason behind these issues?

You mentioned having an older GTX 1060 available for testing in the previous discussion. Did you actually install it? As noted in that conversation, the visual issues observed are typical signs of a GPU VRAM problem.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m planning to this weekend. What methods could help confirm whether it resolves the problem?

On 2/17 I didn't replace the components; I just repositioned the GPU and cleaned it with compressed air. It worked for a few weeks, but it's come back now. Should I test another card, or might this be an MBR problem?

Testing the alternative card was a fast process that helped us confirm the GPU issue clearly. It would be absurd to begin focusing on the motherboard just yet.
