I purchased this RAM after discovering my motherboard only supports up to 16GB. Even with two 16GB sticks, the system keeps beeping three times when I power it on. I handled everything carefully and wore gloves to ensure no damage. I’m looking into whether a stick could work or if a compatible motherboard under $150 exists—ideally one with DDR3 support, or preferably DDR5 if my friend can provide two 16GB sticks.

Initially, I wouldn't use rubber gloves when handling electronics, as I believe it could worsen static discharge issues... However, RAM is quite durable and should work fine. You can't pair a 3570 with DDR5—it only functions with DDR3... I'd recommend trying to reset the CMOS (remove the battery and restart)

It depends on what you're updating. If it's a software update, you might just restart and finish. If it involves reinstalling or major changes, you'll need to reset your system.

Check if you need to clear the cache then load it into RAM once the PC is powered back on.
