I'm facing problems installing drivers for my Intel wireless ac 9462 after switching network adapters. The system wouldn't boot until I reinstalled the original adapter. Device Manager no longer shows the driver, and even though the installer reported success, it still doesn't list any network adapter driver. Hardware appears fine since it worked before the change. Driver Easy previously detected the need for specific drivers.

When internet access is unavailable, you can transfer the files from another device using a USB drive.

You don’t see a way to add the installation files on your USB drive through Device Manager. No driver file creation option appears there.

You can download the file from the official Intel website or a trusted source. Make sure to select the correct installation directory after downloading. If the Intel installer isn’t working, try using a different method such as a direct link or contacting support for assistance.

Sure, let me explain it further. I attempted using the Intel installer, but it didn’t work. Could you provide more specifics about what you were trying to do or any error messages you encountered?

Identify the exact card model, search for its details, then locate the driver on another machine. Downloading the appropriate file and transferring it to a flash drive should work. Launch Device Manager, choose network adapters, verify the presence of the card. Click Update Driver, browse available drivers, and select the one that appears. If not found, enable hidden devices and try installing the missing driver manually.

(ANSWERED!) If you encounter issues similar to this, look for guidance on the Lenovo support site. Update the latest firmware and BIOS files and transfer them via another device to your affected PC using a storage medium, then execute the corresponding executable.
