I've been using an Intel Xeon X3470 at 2.93GHz with a MSI 2A9C motherboard. My system specs aren't top-tier, but I wanted to try Escape from Tarkov. It suggests Intel Core i5, i7 3.2GHz, AMD FX or Athlon 3.6GHz. Since I'm currently using DDR3 RAM, anyone who can recommend a CPU that matches these options would be really helpful.

i7-4790K offers the highest performance among DDR3 CPUs. DDR4 prices are dropping, so upgrading might be wise. A solid Z-series motherboard will be necessary for overclocking.

Thanks in advance, it seems like you're getting a better deal, but because I'm using an DDR3 setup, it's going to be quite a challenge to manage my components. I'll need to upgrade everything, including a new tower, and I think I'll have to keep my GPU as the only thing I can maintain. Appreciate your support, though—I'm planning to work on setting up something new eventually.

You can sell your DDR3 to free up funds for your next project, though locating a suitable Z-boarding motherboard for that CPU might be challenging.
