You have a hard disk drive connected to your Windows PC, and you recently purchased an SSD. You're wondering how to switch Windows to run on the SSD instead.

Todo backup lets you transfer a drive to another. What is the size of the SSD? How much space has been taken on your main hard drive?

To begin anew: Save the installation tool from the link provided. Connect it to a USB drive. Turn off your PC and disconnect the HDD, then power on via the USB. If needed, enter BIOS and make sure USB is listed first. Follow the setup instructions.

I’d still unplug it since Windows sometimes attempts to add files to other disks during setup. Once installed, you can reinstall the drive, power it off for the SSD installation (make sure it’s set as primary boot priority in BIOS) and then use Disk Management to format it afterward.
