EFI or UEFI functions best with GPT partitioning setup. You can change the MBR format to GPT using Disk Management. Ensure the disk displays unallocated space. 1. Press Windows + R, type "diskmgmt.msc" and press Enter. 2. Remove all partitions from the drive, then right-click the hard drive and choose “Convert to GPT Disk.” The process starts right away. Reminder: Back up any critical data before deleting.
