The card won't work without the one that came with the system. The board has special connectors that require the original power supply to function correctly, so just replacing it won't help.

Using a 24-pin adapter with a 12-pin connector is possible but may require careful consideration of pin compatibility and functionality.

They don't need to adhere to any particular standard and are often that way.

It indicates we lack certainty about the compatibility of the 24-pin to 12-pin adapter and PCI-E port until testing occurs.

I didn't check if it was enough. I wanted to know if it was accurate. Alright, you're thinking about using an upgraded power supply with an adapter. Look... I don't understand why you're being unclear. Do you already have the board? The graphics card? The adapter? Does the board function with just the adapter and no card? Are we tackling a real issue or are you just making up possibilities about whether it will work?

I already have the board, GPU, upgraded PSU and adapter, but I’m not sure if connecting them will work.
