A few days ago I bought a second-hand budget gaming PC:
Xeon e5 1620 cpu
Lenovo s30 mobo
32gb ddr3
256gb budget samsung ssd
Palit gtx 1060 3gb
Corsair cx750 psu
The computer restarts unexpectedly when I run the heaven graphics benchmark for 30 to 60 minutes. If I lower the NVIDIA power slider to 50%, the system runs all night. Prime95 CPU tests work fine. I suspect the reboots are due to the GTX 1060 or the Corsair PSU. I replaced the PSU with one from my main PC (AMD 5800X3D + RTX 3060 Ti) but the second-hand budget PC still won’t start with that PSU. Pressing the power button for a couple of seconds makes the Lenovo mobo show post code 00, and there’s no video signal. I’ve double-checked that the CPU connectors are correctly placed. I’ve assembled PCs for over 20 years without ever facing a motherboard refusing to boot with a functional PSU. This really confuses me. Anyone know what might be causing this issue?

It turns out the Lenovo S30 motherboard features two 4-pin power connectors. One is positioned under the CPU socket, while the other is situated at the top of the board. I didn't connect the one at the top since it was concealed by a case fan...
