My computer got really frustrated after installing Windows 10 through the upgrade process. Now the media creation tool isn’t working and I can’t run demanding programs without a blue screen. I’m stuck and only have a 2TB drive to back everything up before wiping it clean and starting fresh with Windows 10. I’m having trouble finding the ISO for Windows 10 Home 64 bit, and I also want to know if the key from my old Windows 8.1 installation will work for the new one. Please help me locate a direct download link and clarify that compatibility.

It shouldn't be this way. This method has only been applied once during the setup on this machine. Additionally, the tool is no longer functional—I've attempted to reinstall without success.

Be extremely cautious with the ISO download. It isn't official—this means it has been modified and may include viruses, keyloggers, and other threats that can be fully hidden at the operating system level. Opt for the Microsoft Media Creation tool instead.

The media creation tool isn't working properly on this machine right now... it seems like a frustrating situation.

Please ensure the Windows 8.1 key is valid and compatible, then proceed with the installation.
