Also, which RAM module are we talking about? If it's 3000 or 3200 MHz, the XMP profile probably won't fit the Ab350 and R3 3200. You might see 2933, but the common choice is around 2667.

It made a prolonged humming sound, kept repeating the same noise, then powered down and attempted a restart, but it continued doing that.

Your RAM speed is 2666MHz. With both RAM sticks installed, you're having trouble getting into BIOS and choosing between XMP or Auto settings.

I'm experimenting now, not sure what to expect, but using both sticks caused constant BSODs, particularly during RAM-heavy games. Previously it would shut down completely, making it impossible to complete tasks.

If you entered BIOS, consider keeping it unchanged for now and check for any issues. It could resolve itself. If not, look for a setting labeled SOC voltage within the Tweak menu.
