I own four 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 RAM sticks. My system runs AMD EXPO II (activated). I’m just starting out with PCs and recently heard that using more than two sticks might lower the RAM speed. Is this accurate? Can I avoid it? Should I use two or four sticks? Current details: CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, GPU - Palit RTX 4080, Motherboard - ASUS TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS with Wi-Fi, NVME-SN850X 2TB, RAM - 4x16 Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000. I’ve checked CPU-Z, BIOS, and Task Manager, and now I’m puzzled. I attached some screenshots. No matter if I have 64GB (four sticks) or 32GB (two sticks), my specs say 6000MHz, BIOS says 4800MHz, and Task Manager shows 6000MHz. Why the difference? Should I stick with four sticks or switch to two? Is there anything else I can do to get the advertised speed? Could my RAM be faulty?
