Last Friday I chose to play CS:GO, but when I clicked it, it said preparing to launch and nothing happened. I’ve checked the game integrity, reinstalled it, updated Steam, and restarted my PC—now I have no idea what to do! Please help me out!

Do you have the newest drivers for your graphics card available? That might be something worth checking.

Confirm that you’re using Steam to launch CS instead of a shortcut. Otherwise it won’t work since verification is required. I encountered this issue when trying to start it directly. Best of luck!

Do you possess the most recent .NET framework? I recall that caused me trouble launching it recently.

your configuration includes an athlon x4 760k processor running at 3.8gHz, a radeon r7 260x graphics card, a corsair cx430w power supply, a 1tb wd black mbio, and an msi a78m-e35 case from corsair carbide series. to access launch options, follow the on-screen instructions during setup or check the manufacturer’s documentation.

It's hard to say without more details. You might need to check the source directly or look for recent updates.
