I don’t have USB ports on my laptop anymore—I only have an SD card slot and a SATA port. Are there any tools or adapters that can connect a SATA port to a USB interface?

It seems you're likely considering using an SD card and a USB-to-SD card adapter to access data from another device.

I might have erred. The port I have available is an empty DVD ROM bay. Uncertain about the type of connector it uses.

It's a SATA port but the answer remains unavailable.

Is there a way to connect via USB using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? Are there options available?

You might want to check fixing your USB connections. Could it be something specific that led to the issue? Have you checked for signs of damage, or did you think they were permanently broken?

I installed Windows 10 and two USB ports stopped working, leaving me with just one. While assembling my robot with an Arduino CNC shield, it exploded and damaged the motherboard. Now I understand how to manage my robot board. Thank you for your assistance.

What is the specification of your desktop? If you're using USB charging, you might need a USB adapter to connect it to a port.
