Need assistance with switching to Kina and setting up my Brocade 6610s for deployment. I've initiated the configuration process on my PC, but the Tftp server keeps timing out when pulling files. The connection appears to start on the server but then fails. I've changed cables, turned off the firewall, and even tried a direct connection via an auxiliary Ethernet port. Received responses from 192.168.1.50 on ports 1027 and 1028 with read requests for files. Multiple local ports (57235, 57236, 63110, 64706) are being used, but the timeout persists.

Reset the device and begin anew? The name seems to have a typo.

The device comes with no configuration file installed, which is why you're having trouble uploading it.

From what I observe, the switch is attempting to retrieve a binary file, not necessarily a configuration file like a .bin extension. This idea came up when I saw a suggestion on a site about setting up TFTPD for Windows: https://fohdeesha.com/docs/brocade-overv...tp-windows. Here are some questions that might guide you correctly: what version of TFTPD are you using? Is the firewall active (especially if you're on Windows)? Have you tried accessing it via the serial port? To be clear, I’m not familiar with Brocade switches, but their CLI resembles a Cisco model from what I see here: https://www.alteeve.com/w/Configuring_Br...t_Switches. I almost purchased similar equipment because it appears to support BGP and OSPF. Edit: I just verified the archive contents with ClamAV (clamAV) just in case anything seemed suspicious on the first page—it looks clean from my side.
