Hello everyone,

I’m not particularly skilled with technology, but I enjoy playing video games. Unfortunately, I struggle to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 effectively on my PC – it runs very slowly when there are numerous players, even after lowering all graphics settings to the lowest possible level.

Here’s a breakdown of my current computer specifications:

Operating System: Windows 10 Education 64-bit
Manufacturer: ASUS
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4460 CPU at 3.20GHz (4 cores, ~3.2 GHz)
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 960

What components would you recommend purchasing to improve my computer’s performance? Thank you!

Your visual settings could be unnecessarily demanding; your processor is slightly stronger than the minimum needed for the game, and your GTX 960 will perform adequately at low to medium settings with a resolution of 1080p. It's also advisable to shut down any extraneous programs running in the background, which might help improve performance.
