In short, I assembled a new PC using a B550M motherboard with a Ryzen 5 5600X and completed all installations. After booting up, everything worked fine until I tried to connect my keyboard to enter BIOS. The keyboard lights up the LEDs but prevents me from accessing the BIOS settings.

Certain keyboards may face problems with the BIOS setup. You might want to use a different keyboard without these issues or look for alternative solutions.

Are you pressing Del or F2 after turning on? One tip is - What if the F2 key isn't working? Make sure the system is off, not in Hibernate or Sleep mode. Press the power button and keep it pressed for three seconds before releasing. The power menu should appear. … Use F2 to access BIOS Setup.

I activated the power button and then used the Del key. I haven't tested the power switch yet.

Try pressing delete or F10. Is your keyboard connected wirelessly or via a cable?

You're connecting the keyboard after the system has finished starting. Doing so will likely trigger an error, and simply inserting it back in may not restore normal operation or reset the issue.
