When I play Fortnite, my frame rate usually stays steady at 130-160 FPS, but sometimes it drops suddenly to just 5-60 FPS without any clear reason. It only lasts a second or so and keeps happening multiple times per game. I suspect this is related to my CPU running at full capacity while my GPU is underutilized. I’m hoping adjusting my CPU usage and increasing GPU activity will help stabilize the performance. I’m currently using all low settings with a resolution of 2560x1440 on my PC, which has an i5-9400f processor and a GTX1660 graphics card.

It's not possible to alter the situation that way. I'd look into the thermal conditions.

If it's just one stick of RAM, it should work fine.
