First of all, it comes down to your budget. At first glance, the 9060 XT with 16GB seems like a solid choice. Unless you plan to upgrade the monitor, your CPU should handle everything smoothly at 60 FPS, making any video card a viable option.

A budget is required. The distinction lies between a $300 and a $1500 amount. In border areas, there will be delays of several days or weeks before card results and any performance updates become available.

Hey there,
It really comes down to the resolution you plan to use. The 5800x still works well, especially at 1440/4k. At 1080p it could slow down some high-end GPUs, but options like the RTX50 or Radeon 9070/XT are solid choices. It all depends on your budget.
Edit: If you're replacing your GPU, upgrading the power supply is essential. This model isn't suitable for powerful gaming rigs. The wattage is fine, but the power quality isn't ideal for gaming.
A Corsair Rmx would be a much better option.

You haven't set your budget yet.
If finances aren't a concern, the RTX 5090 is recommended.
This would also need a PSU upgrade to 1000W to 1200W.

Yeah what you said is right.
I’d recommend a 9070xt for 1440p and a 5080 for 4K, depending on what’s available and affordable in your area.
The rest of the setup looks good.

I don't need 4k, just want it to run smoothly. I'm not an ultra player, I'm okay with basic performance. I play solo, not multiplayer. Would 1440 be sufficient? My AC games are jittery and it's likely to last more than a year or two. I was thinking about upgrading my PSU to match my tower since the new GPUs aren't powerful enough. Thanks for your help everyone.

Without knowing your upgrade budget, all suggestions seem a bit useless.
You know, right? You get it, don't you?
