Need guidance on picking the ideal RAM setup for your gaming PC. You're looking for two 8GB sticks, and you mentioned your CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600. Let's figure out the right latency and MHz requirements. PS: this should help you get started!

3200mhz cl14-15 or 3400mhz cl15-16 or 3600mhz cl16-17 or 3733mhz cl17 or 3800mhz cl17-18 or 3866mhz cl17-18 or 4000mhz cl18 or 4200mhz cl 18-19 or 4400mhz ck18-19 or 4600mhz cl 18-19 or 4800mhz cl 18-19 or 5000mhz cl18-19 everything under 4000mhz for Ryzen. They tend to be unstable, the best stable range is around 3200mhz cl14 or 3600mhz cl16. Some mobile devices can't handle all these frequencies.

Don't rely solely on him. Not all devices can handle such high-speed memory.

I’m not sure about that. Could you provide the link or more details? I was thinking you might be referring to adjusting the low-speed settings to a higher one.

Ryzen 3600 can handle up to 3200mt/s. At this speed, configuring the DOCP profile may encounter fewer problems. Higher speeds require optimization through the CPU's IMC settings.

ok so you can do that. but then you get higher latency which means you get worse performance. you have to keep infinite fabric on the speed as your ram. otherwise you will lose the coupled mode meaning higher latency and worse performance. so lets say you buy 2400mhz kit. then the speed is 1200mhz and the fabric 1200mhz. If you oc the fabric to max stable speed to 1800mhz you will lose performance since your ram is not running at the same speed. If you can oc the 2400mhz (1200mhz) to 3600mhz(1800mhz) and the fabric to 1800mhz then you hvae really good performance. but usually you cannot oc from 2400mhz to 3600mhz it is better to buy 3200mhz/3600mhz
