Hello
I'm looking to purchase a new laptop in the 700-800$ range. What are your thoughts on the HP Victus 16 with Ryzen 6600H? Regarding temperature, speakers, and screen stability, how would you rate it? I'm fine with an RTX 3050 or even 2050, but I need a CPU around 11400H or 6600H, 16GB RAM, and quality speakers.
Thank you.

Hey there,
The Victus is a solid laptop with 16GB of RAM, which is quite impressive for its price. The construction feels average, though the cooling system performs well. AMD processors tend to run cooler than Intel in similar temperature ranges.
When it comes to sound, most HP gaming laptops feature Bang & Olufsen speakers. They aren't the loudest, but they're adequate.

Thank you for your message. Regarding the screen wobble issue, I understand your concern about it being distracting during typing on YouTube. Also, are there any other laptops offering improved materials while maintaining the same specifications? Thank you again.

Well, I'm not entirely sure. If you interact with it or move it slightly, it probably moves a bit. But when you're typing, it doesn't work that way. The Victus is found in the lower range of HP gaming laptops. It's mainly made from plastic, so it doesn't feel very premium. For higher quality construction, you'll have to pay more.

Thank you for your question. I'm considering the Dell G15 5515 paired with the Ryzen 5800H and wondering if it shares the same wobble issue.

Looks quite similar regarding construction and stiffness in the display.

One more question,
I saw the Dell G15 5525 and it looks fine but I noticed its screen panel is WVA not IPS, will that have a big impact? I plan to use the laptop for gaming too, and the response time is 35 ms you can see there:
Dell

I prefer an IPS. A 35ms response time isn't ideal for gaming.
