Need advice on picking a CPU and GPU for your new setup?
Well, I've been operating the system for a few days now, and it functions quite well in general. I'm playing Rebirth at 1080p with all settings at their maximum, and it starts up quickly—under five seconds—and there have been virtually no load times during playback. That’s really impressive.
In terms of temperatures, I checked them over the initial days. With HWM, the GPU stays around 55°C while running; the peak I recorded was between 60 to 62°C, and a hotspot reading reached 73°C. The CPU, however, consistently hit around 75°C, which is higher than usual (typically 60-65°C during play). It’s worth noting that this summer in my country, temperatures have been around 25 to 30°C lately.
There’s also an unusual error message when I power off the PC. It looks like a Windows warning about a memory issue, but it appears right after the system is closing down and disappears within five seconds as the machine prepares to shut off. I’ve tried capturing the screen, but it doesn’t always show up. I’m guessing this might be related to Windows 11 (I used version 7 before), or possibly the memory cards (Corsair Vengeance 2x16 at 6000MHz CL36). It’s hard to say if it’s a problem with the MOBO, CPU, or GPU.
