I have a Ryzen 5 3600, an MSI A520M-A Pro, and two sticks of this RAM.

I've never overclocked any PC parts before...

Enter BIOS settings and turn on A-XMP. Next, retrieve images from CPU-Z for memory and speed details.

I previously attempted it but my CPU only handles 3200MHZ and I experienced a BSOD shortly after logging in (or... did the system even start?).

Adjust the setting to 3600 via A-XMP, then modify the speed to 3200 manually.

There isn't a major need to change the original if it works at 3200. Remember, these low-end chipsets come with limited power output which contributes to their affordability.

The system starts up. If it runs smoothly, do you think this covers everything you need to set up?

If you followed my instructions then yes, but I would perform a memory stress test to verify stability.

I chose the A XMP profile, adjusted it to 3200, applied the updates and closed the program.
