To Whom It May Concern,
I appreciate the time you spent reviewing my thread. My wife no longer permits me to use her tablet since I update it "too often." Well...
I'm searching for a new tablet, but it must not be an Apple model.
I require one that supports reading news articles and watching movies on websites needing a browser with 'uBlock Origin' installed. Apple doesn’t support this feature, and I’m uncertain about Chrome’s compatibility. Firefox works, though. A 10-inch display would be perfect, but cost is a factor. The device shouldn’t handle demanding games or anything beyond what I need. I’m not aiming for a high price, but I want it to remain functional for several years—so I’m prepared to spend a bit more for long-term reliability. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll respond promptly.
Price range preferably under $250
Thank you,
Pete

How much is not a lot? Quite the range of options for a simple tablet.
On the cheap end you might look at the Amazon Fire HD 10.
Maybe the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9?
You could also spend up to $1000 on the new Galaxy Tab.

I'm considering the Samsung A9+ Plus 11 and comparable models. A few older A8 and A6 options were also good. There are many other unbranded tablets available.

There are no solid reasons against getting the Lenovo Tab M11, as it is known for its solid construction. You might also face issues with installing an add-blocker due to the operating system.
