I've checked with others about this process and there are tools you can use to preserve quality. A few recommendations include software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, which offer strong export options.

Hello, the Freemake Video Convertor can transform nearly any file format into another. The main drawback is the watermark it adds at the end of the video. It’s only a small issue, and you can easily remove it with your preferred editing software. Alternatively, purchasing the Pro version would eliminate this problem entirely. I consider it highly dependable and rely on it for my freelance videography projects.

Using recent .mov files, you can simply change their extension to .mp4. The required setting varies based on the device being used.

I'll consider both choices, but this seems like something I might do only once. I can't add a watermark to the video because it will be on a client's website, and I'm not keen on paying for a one-time solution.

I utilize the Digiber converter here, which is the top program I've ever tried for converting videos between formats.

Another video converter exists, but I suggest using Handbrake.
