Need a quick flash of color lines on the screen!
I've experienced intermittent flashing of colored lines on a specific area of my screen that lasts only a brief moment. It seems to occur randomly—possibly 1 to 3 times when using the PC or 3 to 20 times under different conditions. The issue appears whether I'm sitting at the desktop, playing games, or browsing the web. I've tried various monitors, a new graphics card, updated power supply, fresh display cables, and even a complete Windows reinstall, but nothing resolved the problem.
Have you tested a different power supply cable for the monitors? Try moving it around to check if it triggers the flashing lines.
I don't understand the monitor you're using, but it's likely to have a power supply connected to it, followed by a power cable that enters the power supply and then into your home power outlets.
When you mentioned trying a new "power supply," I thought it might be for the PC.
It appears the remaining parts to consider are other PC components and the electrical sockets of your system. I'm uncertain if the motherboard, CPU, or memory might be responsible; could you try switching to a socket with a different power supply? Are you using a surge protector or a power splitter?
Connecting your PC and monitor to a different power socket without the surge protector, such as using a neighbor's or friend's setup, might seem unusual, but if the issue continues, it likely points to an internal system problem. Poor surge protectors can lead to voltage changes, and household electrical issues may also cause similar fluctuations.
