Hello,
I’m not very familiar with computer technology, and I’m looking for guidance on how to keep my machine running smoothly and perform well. I’ve noticed that some people with older systems can handle higher graphics settings and even record their gameplay. I think there might be something I’m doing incorrectly in the game settings or general computer maintenance. If anyone could offer advice on improving performance and upkeep, I would really appreciate it.

My machine specifications are: Ryzen 7 2700X, 2080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and a MOBO ROG STRIX X470-F gaming build.

Thank you.

Make sure your (GPU) drivers are current.
Are there any particular problems you're encountering?

With that rig you'll likely face tough competition when trying to play on higher settings. As minibois mentioned, make sure all your drivers are current, and keep your machine's interior clean and free from dust.

Everything seems quite stable; I rarely encounter system crashes or booting problems. The startup is smooth and fast, though I mostly run into low frame rates in certain games (especially Arma 3), which might be normal. I think cleaning the machine more often would help, and I should also check my drivers—should the CPU receive driver updates as well?

The mobo receives updates that assist the CPU. BIOS updates are available on the Asus website, while the most recent chipset drivers can be found on AMD's site. Use CPU-Z to discover your current BIOS and chipset drivers—it's free to download.

With GeForce Experience, I utilize it for recording with my Titan Xp and it functions excellently.

I'll do my best to keep the same length and structure while changing the wording.
