Need a copy of Windows 11?
I want a backup of Windows before using it, in case I need to revert to the original state later. I checked creating a restore USB, but it seemed incomplete—no full installation with drivers or everything set up like the factory version. It came with an offline-capable version so I didn’t have to log in with my Microsoft account, and there were no unnecessary spam programs installed.
I need to create an exact duplicate of my Windows drive so I can restore it later if necessary.
You're looking for a system clone solution. Clonezilla is available for free. You need a way to create a live CD or USB from it, allowing you to run it even if your main system fails and to make a complete disk copy.
Download the
Windows 11 Media Creation Tool
- select the Create Windows 11 Installation Media option. Execute the tool using at least an 8GB USB drive connected. The tool will copy the installation files onto the USB and prepare it for booting. For a fresh install later, simply launch that USB drive.
In terms of physical copies, though they are mainly available on USB install sticks these days, I believe most stores, including Amazon and Newegg, still keep them, and perhaps even offer a hard copy of Blu-ray/DVD. Other than that, those previous suggestions have also helped me in the past.
I wasn't able to figure out the first way. I gave me a Linux program for Clonezilla. I don't think the Media Creation Tool is going to have all my original drivers installed.

You can't obtain installation media when your drivers are already installed. You mentioned you need to revert it to the factory state later. The best approach is to perform a clean install from bootable media, add all required drivers, and then create a disk image using software like Macrium Reflect or Acronis.
I reached out to Beelink support and they provided me with my serial number along with an ISO file containing the same image used at the factory for assembly. They mentioned the product would already be activated since the product key is embedded in the motherboard. They assured that all factory drivers would be included, and installation wouldn't need a Microsoft account, just like the original version. I appreciate they removed the requirement for a Microsoft account. It only asks for the time zone, keyboard type, and then it launches directly to the desktop without the usual 700 steps and tutorials. Plus, it isn't connected to OneDrive, which is a relief.
Ensure your personal data is saved on a USB drive before proceeding. If Beelink provides an image of the factory Windows setup, you only need to transfer your files to the USB, reinstall the image onto the SSD using RUFUS, and then restore your files—completion is achieved. Certain vendors employ dedicated software that can fully recover the system automatically, erasing everything on the disk upon boot from the image. Remain cautious about what the image does. Always back up your files first!
