I don’t rely on mac and likely won’t in the future. I gave it a shot once but didn’t enjoy the experience—it felt similar to Windows 8’s start button. Now I’m curious about what mac users actually face when playing games. I’m not here to praise mac or argue with Windows; I just want to understand the challenges they encounter while gaming on that platform.

Trying once isn't sufficient; mastering the OS and grasping its advantages—and drawbacks—takes time. Macs aren’t automatically better for music photography or music, though they excel in that field mainly because of the software tailored for OSX Gaming. On OSX you can run Steam for Mac and install games via the app store, which also hosts full PC titles. You could also dual boot with Windows, letting it operate exactly like on a Windows PC—there’s no significant difference. The main reason Macs aren’t considered gaming machines is that they lack high-end GPUs and similar hardware.

In fact, the grammar here is quite poor. You can use the spell check feature by right-clicking and selecting the correct spelling.

I think this maybe a troll wanting to start a flamewar. Mac isn't better for video, photo or music editing, it is the same. Also Mac will also game fine, there isn't magic powers that makes it shit for gaming but good for editing. The main downside to macs is the program support, purely because PC's are more popular.

You're facing an issue with file formats and software compatibility. All your photos, videos, and music remain in RAW on a Mac. When using Windows, they get converted to a format that works better there, which can affect quality. Most editing tools are designed for Mac first, then adapted for Windows, though Windows remains popular. Many games are developed for Windows due to its larger user base, which has led some developers to prioritize it over Mac. If you're not familiar with Mac, don't hesitate to learn from others who do.

This statement isn't accurate. Photos, videos, and music aren't always in RAW format on macOS. They can be in various formats depending on the original recording device or software used. While OS X and Windows handle these files similarly, the actual file types can differ based on the source. Adobe CC offers tools for both platforms, but many editing programs are now available for PC as well.

You could just write things properly. Seriously, there’s no reason to need a built-in spell checker—just use it. I get what you mean, but these are just small errors again, especially since you already have one.

I'm not referring to the way it's saved as a format, but something much simpler and more fundamental. It's like saying a basic picture is just a long string of ones and zeros, like "1111111110000000000000".

I’m not entirely clear on the details, but you can use patches to make Windows recognize RAW files properly. I have a Sony patch that allows me to view and explore my RAW images in Explorer, not just Lightroom.
