Hi, I just got the NBN connection and it works with the TPG modem (tp-link archer vr1600v). However, I’m having trouble connecting it to my ASUS DSL-AC55U. On the first day, the Arris box didn’t connect at all, but after a full day of plugging it in, it worked with the TP-Link. Should I wait for the ASUS to connect like before, or try something different? Thanks for your help!

It might be an issue with the ISP modem or just a cable problem. Did you link the modem to the ASUS using Ethernet?

I connected the identical cable to both modems.

Unusual. The device should identify the ISP router after connection. If it fails to recognize the router for 24 hours, I’d request a replacement. It shouldn’t do that.
