I was considering switching from TUF B450 Gaming Pro to this model, but the B450 TUF seems to offer top-notch memory support I've encountered. Upon checking the memory compatibility for this board, it appears just as poor as before. However, this board features a 6-layer PCB which is promising, though overall RAM kit support remains very limited and questionable for a mid-range motherboard. My main question is whether PATRIOT RAM, Royal Z, or Fury Beast would work well here. I was also evaluating the Neo RAM Kit, which generally fits most boards. My previous issue was with the PATRIOT VIPER STEEL 2x8GB 3733MHz kit. It seems this B450 TUF motherboard may struggle with RAM that operates at a different frequency—possibly due to compatibility concerns. I’m not sure if it would handle higher speeds reliably, as stability often depends on matching the clock speed. I was hoping for a stable setup without crashes, especially since I can’t rely on anything other than 2133MHz. I initially thought the problem might be with the RAM itself, but I realized changing the kit could help. Now I’m seeking recommendations for other boards that fit this configuration, preferably with features like a CMOS clear button and more USB ports. As long as the VRM and memory controller are solid, it would suit my needs. I’m also curious about upgrading from 3600 to 5800MHz and plan to use it mainly for gaming and productivity in Premier or AE, requiring something robust and fast.
