My Xbox One gamepad isn’t being recognized.

I recently purchased this gamepad:

and when I connect it to my computer, it’s not recognized at all. I've experimented with various cables that function correctly with other devices and attempted different USB ports, but nothing has resolved the issue. I’ve also discovered that it's possible a driver for Windows 10 hasn't been installed, despite being included with the product. I’ve attempted to manually download drivers from both Microsoft and the PDP website, and I've updated my operating system completely. Are there any further troubleshooting steps you could suggest? It doesn't appear in my device manager, and I don’t observe any changes within the device manager before or after connecting/disconnecting the gamepad. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
