My Wifi :(
My Wi-Fi was super strong right away, which excited me since my previous connection was slow. After fixing the speed issue, I discovered that certain games—like Minecraft and Osu!—still didn’t connect properly. Steam worked sometimes but wasn’t reliable; I often had to reconnect multiple times to get a stable link. If anyone has any insights or suggestions, it would be super helpful. Discord: Lukasiscool1000#6860 is actually Skybivi, not the usual name, and my neighbors use something like Sky48fc or similar. :/
Confirming the details: are you referring to the hardware brand, your internet service provider, or another entity?
No internet connection is available, but my computer functions on other Wi-Fi networks smoothly. It appears to be only working on this specific one.
You're dealing with the right areas of concern. It seems you're trying to separate the internet service provider (ISP) from the actual network connection you're using—whether it's Wi-Fi or a wired setup. If you're experiencing issues after switching providers, contacting them is the next step. For WiFi problems, please share more about your equipment and setup so we can better assist.
Which Sky device model are you linking via Wi-Fi? What connection options do you have—Ethernet versus wireless—and what bandwidth do you expect with each? Would you like to perform a wireless survey using both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands from your laptop or phone, and share the findings here?
The device runs smoothly on both Ethernet and wired connections, differing mainly by a small difference of around 1mb.
Check your current rate and the speeds available for Ethernet and Wi-Fi using DSLReports.com or SpeedTest.net. Ensure no other local network activity is running.
